Day 3

Subject: [firstname]: Time to draw a success road-map

Hey [firstname]!

Yesterday we talked about setting your goals.

Now you know WHAT you want, it's time to figure out HOW you're going to get it. That process is called drawing up a plan.

The thought of drawing up a plan can daunting, but actually, it's easier than you think. The key is to start at the end and work backwards. In other words, start at the point where you've successfully reached your goal, and work backwards to now.

This way you'll KNOW that everything you want to do is achievable.

You'll know before you do this, you have to do that, and before you can do that, you have to do something else.

And…

You'll also know if your goal is unachievable BEFORE you start wasting time, effort and money on it.

“Before I do this, I have to do that, and before I can do that, I need to… Ah, problem!”

You can also factor in a Plan B at the same time by simply thinking of alternative routes from your desired outcome to now.

Now you have all sorts of different ways of achieving your goal, all factored in BEFORE you start.

Once you've worked your way back from there to here, you can use these steps to draw up your plan. Now, work forwards towards your goal and keep going until you achieve it.

Talk soon!
